Shipping Cost

Okay, so there is probably an easy way to find this out, but I am absolutley internet dumb. Does anyone here know how much it would cost to get a small package (say a guitar pedal) shipped from Australia to the United States? A general estimate would be great if anyone has done this before or could find out easily. Any help would be awesome!

It is. Try Finland: small country + offering efficient postal services + taxation upholding the society = horrible prices.

I was sending recently a 120.USD something pedal to be fixed by the builder and wanted it there quickly and safely. The shipping I was offered at the counter for quick and safe delivery would have cost some 38.00€ (= 54.00$). The cheapest I was willingly offered, without insurance, was some 20.00€. And You know, when the pedal get's back to me, through the customs post office, I might actually have to pay the 22% VAT for the same pedal again.

It's like Dr Mengele was working for the post offices and wanted Your gold teeth for shipping internationally.

it's asymmetrical like good clipping. Because of the politics and shit like that, the shipping/delivery/insurance/VAT doesn't cost the same the other way, as I've learned. Your post office isn't the Australian one.
