First post! I've been lurking here for a hella long time, and I decided it was time to join the party.

Here's what I'm running:
Image

Ibanez RG or Ibanez Les Paul-ish thing > Brit Bender > Micro Q-tron > Hyperion > Peavey Micro Bass amp

It may not seem like much, but the Q-Tron into the Hyperion makes some surprisingly freaky stuff happen.

Everything except wah and volume is running through the bypass looper. The volume pedal controls the feedback loop of the Memory Lane. Fuzzes are a Prescription Electronics Experience Fuzz, a Shiva, a Little Big Muff and a Musket.

(Loops are octave/synth, fuzz, fuzz, phaser, fuzz, fuzz, delay, analog delay, digital delay/reverb.)

Next step other than buying more fuzz pedals and rotating other fuzz pedals on and off the board is probably ditching the d. delay and adding a Decimator at the beginning of the chain.

That is one hell of a board!
I admire your ability to leave no space without a pedal.

Boss ME-25
I use it to control volume going to the amp also acts as an end of line buffer and noise gate which is sweet. I have it set in pedal board mode so no real amp modeling to speak of.

If I need it I have it set up to do extra verb as well as back end compression, plus it has a headphone out so I don't wake the baby up from her nap.

Yeah it may get replaced with a rocktron hush at some point but for now it does so many things that you can't replace with just one pedal.

Each board works by itself so it serves more of a purpose in that context

And I do love the expression factory but I only use the space station setting.
I found that you have to do a few things to make them work well
Turn off the internal distortion, and get a sound you like and keep it, I hate that you have no visual clue as to what it is actually doing.

I liked my expression factory. I haven't used it in a while since switching to the small board, though, but it's a great pedal. The biggest problem I had with it was the terrible buffer. I never really noticed how bad it was unless I stuck some dirt behind it. I never used the wash, the univibe setting, or the built in dirt though. They all sounded kindof bad to me, but the flanger, the spacestation and the whammy settings always sounded good to me. If I was still using the bigger board I'd still be using it.

yeppers. for me - whammy good, most everything else poo-based, weird power supply sucks them nuggles.
