I purchased gas... and like 400 dollars worth of textbooks. I want to get textbooks for my kindle, but they aren't much cheaper and I can't resell them at the end of the year
So this turned into another devi thread...

a fulltone ocd wich i hated after 5 min, isopropyl alcohol for bong cleaning purposes, and ketchup cheetos for a backup munch.
Heart under construction, please forgive the inconveniences.

I bought a drum set! I'm so addicted to Music Go Round. I didn't want a full matched set(I don't use high toms), so I convinced the guy to sell me a bass drum and floor tom and picked up a cheap snare, hi-hat, and crash/ride. Only problem is that the top of the high hat doesn't fit on the stand. I'll either have to return it for a new one or spend hours trying to file it down.

I need a drumset so badly, Are you trying to file down the stand or the high hat?

The stand. The pole that goes up and down(I don't know any of the terminology) is to big to fit through bit that holds the upper cymbal.

don't fuck with it...you can just go to a drum shop and buy a new cymbal holder widget for probably like $10. the old one should unscrew via a nut underneath the cymbal.

well, it were yesterday now, but a used 12" G4 PowerBook with the CS4 suite on, which i bought from a graphics dude on another forum and which i can use for freelance work and to do GarageBand stuff as well as image macros and vector drawing pedalboard layouts. so i get a laptop i can use as a portable sketchpad with CS4 for less than it'd have cost me to put CS4 on the box here at home. plug into my desktop monitor -> $200 HOME OFFICE FTW
