Achtane wrote:I was getting super sketched out about the Wolf Computer, but I actually like it so far. Takes some getting used to, it's a weird effect. I think the bass mod Mudfuzz has might lend it some more versatility, but it's cool how you can use it either as drive or as "WUT".

The "sag" knob kinda acts as a switch between fuzz and synth; with it all the way open, you get the "normal" fuzz mode. I really like the way it sounds with the fuzz knob also fully open. It's a little noisy but it sounds great driving toobz! You can do lower-gain fuzz too and it's also good -- but I think this is one area where it could be a little bassier. It doesn't suck lows, but it feels like there's more high-end than I like. A little on the clanky side, but maybe I like less highs than most :idk:
I think it sounds better into the clean channel. Anyway, the versatility surprised me.
The synthiness I haven't messed with as much. It seems to get inarticulate as you go lower. I need more time with it though.
Also, in a feedback loop you get dead-on NES sounds.

hurm. i mean, of COURSE fucking COOL that you dig yours! but i just hated it. i could only get it to play with my bass if i pushed it all the way into self-oscillation. which was awesome, but it reminded me a lot of the Gray Box. and i already gots that. i just sent mine back to Tom'a'cina for a Suppuku Sub Octave Synth. that thing gets REEEEEdiculously noisy. fun times.

baahhhhhWOO!! any of y'all ever played with Idiot Box's stuff? i got his trem, the Mad Doctor Stutter off of a trade, and it was FUN. he's the keenest of peaches and was open to jamming it and the Deathray into smaller boxes for me.............

i get home from work (it's like...... 72 steps from my house) in about an hour to try out DeatthhHHhRAYYYYYYYY. i am EXCITE.

Get out while you can, delays are addictive as fuck and the cool ones are all over $250. Also, once you're hooked, you need at least 2, possibly 5. ON AT THE SAME TIME.

They are as bad. Modulation, FX-loops, Reverse mode, loopers, oscillation, DESTROY buttons? Allowing you all sorts of ways for your fuzzy goodness to repeat itself endlessly, what's not to love?

Also it appears some of our resident builders are working on a delay, including Aen, BlackOut and your beloved duckling Brian, INFANEM should do one eventually as well. EQD has the Dispatch Master out, which is delay+reverb and priced very considerately at $185. That's not even touching on the awesome stuff currently out there, which will not be named, at least for the duration of this post.

Thanks for the comments,
the little blue pedal is a Crazy Tube Circuits Vyagra boost.
It's a clean boost with a foot switchable parametric eq section.

That's pretty spectacular! :joy:

Lol definitely didn't even notice the Klon until after I wrote that. Really if the only pedal there was the doppelganger I would be just as jelly.
