I took a graphic design class. I learned a lot, and I highly recommend it if you have a local community college, and its cheap, hell being a student is almost worth the discount you can get on Adobe software...

But I agree, I could never stand to deal with these people. We had to bring our projects up to the front of the class for critique, and people would get into shouting fights, throwing mice at each other (you can't make this up) flash drives, people sabotaging each other's projects, and this was just Graphic Design 2. Try to offer constructive criticism and you will get death threats. These motherfuckers are crazy

word. if I can help, let me know. I don't have photoshop or anything right now, but if you want some critique, I'll offer up what knowledge I have. The most important thing I learned was to bounce ideas off people otherwise you just get caught up in the design and lose focus of whether it will work or not. I have been guilty of the "OH MY FUCKING GOD I CAN LAYER EVERYTHING AND IT WILL LOOK AWESOME! JUST BECAUSE YOU CANT READ THE TEXT DOESNT MEAN ITS ANY LESS AWESOME"

and imagine one of those little things from the oatmeal screaming that at you. It's 20% funnier
