Robocop actually holds up pretty well. In different ways that you might expect, but it does nonetheless.

And I hate being loaded and watching films, but you haven't really seen 2001 until you've dissolved some stuff on your tongue about an hour before viewing it.

"Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, look at that!"

"the monkies! they're like.... our ancestors! We got invaded by alien legos, man! Fuckin' alien legos changing the course of history, man!"

"What the fuck, space?"

"Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, look at that!"

"This robot seems malicious. Also, uh, don't look left. The walls are moving."

The worst was the time I sat down to watch a movie (not 2K1) and some friends came by the apartment.

*Knock on door*
Internal monologue: "There's no way I can go out like this. I can't even get off the couch right now."
*Roommate opens door. Homefries enter*
Homefries: You coming out with us tonight?
Internal: "Absolutely Not."
External: "Sure!"
*Grab coat. Go to party*

hah! been THERE. i'm such an introverted shy basket case though. don't have to deal with parties much anymore.

i love Grosse Point Blank. i don't think that's what that pic's from, but i love him in that. i would so do a "i don't even know who i'm TOUCHING RIGHT NOW!!" threeway with him and his oddly hawt sister.

I've heard from a number of sources that he's nothing less than the highest grade of mint flavored douche.

If we're talking that kind of family, though, I'm picking the Baldwins cast of Community. Chevy Chase included.

Clockwork Orange on the other hand. RARRRR.

and yeah. Pandorum's not the BEST movie. i thought it was interesting and fun to watch. it did feel like a mash up of a few films from different genres that i liked. in a good way.

The Descent skeered me HARD when i first saw it. i think i've only gone to the theaters by myself maybe 3 times. that was one. and it just wrecked me. very much the awesome.

Did you know that Pink Floyd's Echoes syncs up to the last 23 minutes of 2001? Especially that crazy colored flying through space part.

Hmm, dorkiest I have is probably my decent sized collection of old video games and systems. The dorkiest of that lot is probably the Sega Saturn i picked up in a thrift store with no controllers, cables or games. I've had that for nearly ten years now, still have no idea if it works. :idk:

Oh yeah, I've also got a box with about thirty original Transformers at my parents' house. I've got a bunch of Ninja Turtles too, including the Party Wagon!

I sold most of these, but still have some red ones left. Aside from that,I have 7 full bookcases in my house, and at least 4 2 ft. high stacks of books on the floor. :idk:
