No. This is the reality of pre-orders. I'll be honest, I shouldn't have let my bank account get so low... I definitely take full responsibility for getting my finances so tight here recently (I'd hope you can imagine in what other ways I'm fucked right now personally, though I'm not asking for sympathy, just making the point I definitely made a mistake to let myself get in this situation).

Pre-orders are cool, but you gotta make sure you give yourself more than enough time, and that you have a good amount of savings.

Sorry, just wanted to drop this last bit in, because I do take full responsibility for this being such a fuck up on my part (thus the refund + pedal)... but pre-orders are cool... you just gotta do them right and have plenty of money in savings for anyone who wants to bail if the heat gets too hot.

Once again, truly, I can't apologize enough for putting you (and myself) in this situation, but once the money clears and when you do receive the pedal (which you are gladly welcome to flip to make more than your money back if you don't want to have the "taint" of a devi ever pedal in your rig)... hopefully you'll find some solace in my attempt at making this right. :idk:

... and done. Check your email too. We can discuss what you want if you don't want a Silver Rose on top of the refund.

this isn't drama. just matter of fact. people see and get both sides of it.
you get to pimp your PR, and apparently i'll be getting a free pedal.
i don't want to hate your pedals (or you), i just need to keep the mojo on the up an up.

edit: well while i was writing this a few posts got added.
yes there is solace, and I appreciate that this didn't turn into berating.

I know I'm super stoked to learn about the inner workings of Devi's business model, but maybe that should've been a PM discussion.

Well, for all the drama (which I haven't really looked or wished to look into, personally) that seems like a damn nice way to say sorry to be honest.

Just saying.

Yeah, I know, just, y'know. Waiting can be bitch. But shit happens. Sometimes you do have to be patient. But sending someone a $320 pedal... whoo. I don't know how I'd feel about taking that and a full refund as an apology. That's just me though. No judgements on any of you. Most of the builders on here are awesome folks, from what I've read.

And it's pretty solid of her to do that for you also. That is awesome customer service.

Good on ya, Devi Ever FX.

I say as long as he gets the refund things are square. maybe a cheaper pedal. I know I would feel guilty about taking the loot and the actual pedal.

This is what I meant worded more clearly.

EDIT: Actually, looking back through the thread (which I opened to see how people were getting on with theirs, by the way), if the thing was a joint venture with Prymaxe, it sorta makes sense they get them first, as they may have been preordered, but Prymaxe are the ones who facilitated their creation, so they too kind of own them. The point of a joint-venture is neither party takes preference. There may have been a few small mistakes along the way, but it was never like a reputable company was going to rob a customer, even if it took a few days to get the refund sorted out, all of which was explained (more than enough), again in a very public place.

I've never owned a Devi Ever pedal, or many pedals at all for that matter, so i'm no fanboy, just, from a fairly objective standpoint, she did absolutely more than enough to appease a customer who drags such a matter into a public forum, one that could have been dealt with with a little patience. Which, by the way, again, looking back through these threads, she exhibited more of than I would have in in her place: in the rational, balanced responses she gave, and the personal information she offered up. And all with very little thanks, even at its conclusion, I might add.

Well done Devi.

This does not apply to you, I assume a thread like this didn't precede your remarkable customer care.

I'm very interested in one of those Chrome ones. I'll may be jumping on that Kickstarter bandwagon. I'll definitely be buying a Team Awesome Fuzzmachine (as we discussed elsewhere) at some point, but these have peaked my interest for the variety of shenanigans they can get up to.

They say no press is bad press. Can we have a part of the forum to move threads like this? Maybe call it "All My Fuzz" or "As the Fuzz Box Turns".
