Congrats, those fuckers are hard to come by.

I think my Hollow Earth GAS has finally subsided but I'm sure that will change with the release of the new version. That one pedal that pops in and out of my conscience on a very regular basis, hard to shake it.

EDIT: HOLY FUCK, I JUST HIT FAMOUS STATUS, NEEDS TO BACK OFF THE GEAR FORUMIN'

Haha, thanks dude! I really dig it so far and haven't had any facepalm moments yet. Sounds wicked pairing it up with the GK3, a bit of overkill for some but f'n heaven as far as I'm concerned. It's the only Sonic Crayon pedal that's interested me as I just dig tremolo (besides the famous vibrato till I found out how much it cost to build, etc) so I'm glad in that respect as they do pop up sporadically.

I'll be at that stage soon enough too, don't worry, my PC-usage has gone through the roof since January.

GK3 and Hollow Earth could be labeled overkill by some, possibly most...

They seem pretty different to me though. The GK3 seems more "perfect" in it's patterns and modes along with all the awesome trem settings available. I don't use it to full potential though, need to experiment a bit more. The Hollow Earth looks a bit more ambient and unpredictable maybe, at least from demos I've watched. Both are awesome.

They are...The Hollow Earth seems to encourage lots of experimentation, and it is very easy to come up with incredible volume changes as opposed to tremelo, just perfect for ambience/synth or noise washes etc. The GK for me is a super versatile rhythmic tremelo, and being able to sync it up to Cubase/Protools etc just increases its versatility - even if its not in the signal path it sends the synced timecode out, lotsa goodness. They compliment each other really well, forme theres not alot of crossover in usage.
buncha stuff...

I've fallen in love with Maple fretboards sporting black block inlays. :picard:
