Been spending some time messing around with my own ideas instead of helping out with my guitarists ideas. Can cop fake lead lines with my Line6 M5 and bass, but I feel like a cheap guitar would be a much better tool for that type of thing.

I find myself very interested in acquiring guitars as well. I mainly want to get them so I can noodle around with the electricals,...swap out pups,...that short of thing. Also strongly interested in a Black MIM Pbass hanging in a pawnshop.

That's something I have fun with...the guitar parts for Rock Lobster, for example, are fun and not too difficult since Ricky Wilson had pulled the two middle strings off his Mosrite for the original recording.

innnterrresssting. i have a new project starting up as soon as we can find the right dooder/doodette, and i'm actually excited about working with a guitarist. 's been FORRRRRRRRrrrrrever. i've enjoyed the Bass Is The Main Melodic Instrument thing, but super escited about bouncing offa somebody.

oooh, one of my buddies has a Sterling by Musicman Axis copy with a ridiculous Rockstar energy drink paint job that he got for a hundred bucks on Craigslist. He's going to let me borrow it. Absolutely heinous looking, but should suffice for the specific use I'll have for it.
