I'll admit that Mark's advocacy of Fuzz through Tube amps is what makes me interested in getting a tube amp. But I'm not of the opinion that Toobs > Solid Statw. I think my SS rig sounds excellent. That said I still want a toob amp.

His tone is good for one thing only; dadrock. It's decent and I like the Mudbucker thud,...but it isn't any holy grail type tones.

I will say that at least the Mark has found his sound and sticks to his guns even if he does come off as a doosh. Better than the FX zombie noobs who are only interested in copping someone else toanz (coughcoughIanthebassistcough).

I like the JimmyM vs MarkO Little Wing battle,....but I am so over that song. Seriously, Hendrix is so played out anymore. I'm not saying he wasn't good and didn't revolutionize R'n'R,....I've just lost interest in most things from around that era. There was a time when I was all about Hendrix and Zeppelin and The Who,....but I wanna hear new stuff,...not be nostalgic about a time before I was born. I've heard Little Wing so many times played by so many wannabes that I'm just sick of it. yeah...... i'm actually scared of toobz. i love my fuzzes and i'm super happy with the tones i gets outs of thems. i'm afraid to plug into somebody's toob head and be blown away by the Extra Awesome Sauce. it would ruin my whole approach to setting up rigs.

This is the first time I heard this version. I suppose it's nice to hear a different take on it.

With regard to MO,....he has a penchant for making himself come off as foolish. Definitely not someone I'd buy a beer IRL.

I used to be pretty judgmental but I've learned that in a battle of wits I'll normally loose so I just don't bother with being judgmental anymore. I got better things to do.

I will say that MO is a Fuzz lover and he has been Permabanned from TB,...so there is a good chance that he'll wander over here. If he doesn't check his attitude at the door I have a feeling that the ILFers will show him no mercy.

Also,...with regard to Jared Lash,....I sent him a PM and he said thanks for the invitation and has lurked ILF and that he'd love to come "hangout",...but he seems like a pretty busy man. I think he is in my facebooks network and he never posts.
