This thing is great and has in insane amount of versatility with all of the selectable wave types and subdivisions.

Don't let the gutshot fool you though, it was a bitch as far as offboard wiring.

Yeah, it's great. Nice build you got there, too. I dig the VCC LED mounts. Not many people seem to use them, which surprises me. They're cheap, attractive, highly visible, and nearly indestructible.

One of my favorite settings is the square wave, very fast, with the wave distort set to have more "off" time to make up for the slowness of the LDR. I love how you can take it from a choppy square wave all the way down to blips.

My other favorite setting is the downward sweep. If you play during the quiet parts, and you can make some pretty cool pseudo-delay type sounds, with the tremolo creating a sharp attack and a gradual decay. A compressor before the tremolo helps.

I haven't built anything in a while, but I do have an 8-stage tap tempo phaser on my breadboard right now. It uses the same LFO, but doesn't require an LDR. :erm:

I'm already having a LOT of fun with this one, definitely one of my more enjoyable builds.

Do you not have ticking issues on the square wave (some of the others too?)? I did, and tried everything to stop it :( . So I ended up having mine fixed to the sine wave (what i use the most anyways). But still even just for the sine wave it's a really good project.

thankyou, now I know what they are called. I've always wanted them. I have tried a bunch of bezels and I'm just drilling a 4mm hole for a 5mm LED without the bezel right now.

its a Nazo fuzz. thats japanese for strange/mysterious. the 15k shunt on the input makes it wobble like a trem or a dieing amp that sags at random. without the shunt, its a more standard fuzz without the broken random sag thing. the problem is that it is so high gain, it picks up noise. without the shunt, it has more bass. I want to make another one battery only with shielded wire running to the switch so I can just remove the 15k shunt and have a really sweet fuzz. if you build it, try it without the clipping diodes, that makes it way loud and just a little fuzzy.
