If I had to guess, probably a little like Status or Modulus? (I know those are carbon/graphite, but I imagine Aluminum probably sounds kinda similar?)

I used to have a Kramer bas with an Al neck and active electronics -- it was real bright and growly, and took a good EQ at the preamp stage well.
Thing was indestructible too.
That one looks cool.

That bass is actually Jonathan Nunez of Torche's bass. So, I think that was a more GAS related post.
