Not surprised either but I've always hoped that Oliveri's antics had been exaggerated. Guess he truly is a woman beating maniac...

I've always dealt with flaky bass players. Doesn't surprise me

Just kidding to the bassplayers on this site. Don't kill me. But all of the bass players I have worked with have been weird as hell and never want to practice

As a flaky bassplayer,I can say that it's probably because your riffs suck. :thumb:

Anyway, this is a half bummer. Dude makes good music, and probably needs to lay off on partying for a little while.

kyuss was not the same with out nick and i love scott reeder but they werent the same.

I don't get it. I play bass, and I practice a lot. I sit down and practice for hours at a time. But every other bassist I have played with does not practice at all. Not on their own, and not with the band. That's why I think in my next band I'm going to play bass and get someone else to play guitar. That way all I need to worry about is the drummer.
