I'm doing pretty poorly myself. Lost twice in a row last night to a noob friend of mine. So embarrassing.

I really like his micro, but his builds don't do it for me. He doesn't have the kind of flair that a player like TLO has.

Lol. Doing better than me then. I can't seem to move up, although I suppose that's because I pretty much never play 1v1s.

My main 2v2 team (plat) beat a team of master leaguers the other day though. It was an awesome game.

My placement matches went like this:
First match I surrendered in two seconds because I accidentally chose random and got Zerg (I'm a Terran player)
Second match the other guy surrendered instantly (he also chose random, I don't know if that's why he quit though)
Third match I won (TvT, I made an 8 marine drop in his mineral line as he simultaneously MMM rushed me. He destroyed my base except inexplicably left my factory and 9 SCV's alive, so I rebuilt barracks and a starport and after killing all of his SCV's hunted down his army...)
Fourth match I won (TvP, 4-Zealot rush, I was already walled off and just followed his last Zealot to his base with my 8-ish marines)
Fifth match I won (TvZ, nothing really notable happened).

I want to start practicing Protoss soon, too. They're awesome.

I'm mostly a Protoss player now, although I occasionally play random. My original placement matches made me so frustrated. I won every one of them. Just dominated. And got placed in Bronze... It took me forever to move up a couple leagues. Then I didn't play for a while, and when I started back up, immediately dropped down a league after just 1 loss.
