The Jp is an Effector thirteen pedal. JP stands for Jerry's pot. It's a clean boost.

Yes, it's like the volume knob on your guitar, except it's in a box with a stomp switch.

Here is the latest update to my under-construction board for Seismic Feedback. The blank enclosure in the middle is going to be a bypass looper for my XP-1000 when I get off my lazy butt and put it together. All I'm missing is a Behringer BSY-600 that will go on the far right side. The BSY I already own is on my other board, so for 40 bucks, I'll just get a second one. The exp pedal is for the dlx memory boy. The Sonuus is sending midi out to a Microkorg. Then I just have to wire it all up.

Perhaps. If I do, I'm gonna make a switcher box to move it in and out of the loop. I don't want to have a pedal JUST sit in the loop, ya know?
