No! Bad Canadian! It's about $400 to expensive.
Listen to futuresailors. It's way overpriced. I've seen a few of these go for $700 or less, in Canada, over the last year. Keep an eye on Capsule Music -- they just sold a bunch of nice old Wem Copicats too, and they had a bunch of different Rolands over the last year too. If I see one I'll drop you a PM.
Here's a Space Echo RE101 w/ am asking price of $500: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/m ... 87277.html
Different model I know, but you can do better than dropping $1k on that one.
Here's a 201 for $700: http://montreal.en.craigslist.ca/msg/2393734991.html
Another for $550: http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/msg/2446117666.html
I just think everything in Alberta is overpriced, it's irksome but whatever. I could drive to Vancouver for an RE101 or better, but it be almost crazy.
Now I want a Timeline, or a SuperDelay, can't decide.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
Timeline over the Superdelay all day every day.
The dTape algorithm on the El Cap blew the tape setting of the SD out of the water. The TL is way more tweak-able. The SD was my delay (until Strymon came along), and it does sound great. But, to me, it feels like a bunch of presets, and the only thing you can truly dial in are the actual delay settings.
But that's just me. I'd rather have control over as many parameters as I can. I realize some people would rather have a simple, great sounding delay, so they can spend more time playing and the SD is that. But if it's the best tape emulator you are after, the Timeline wins for me.

Timeline
Whetstone
Fuck
Goatkeeper
Probably more components than I need as well.
Some quality GAS occurring there. The only thing on your list I let go was the GK3, amazing pedal but way more than I needed. Ultimate Tremolessence replacing it as we speak.
Timeline Friday.
Whetstone owns the phasing, expression is the only thing that would make it cooler, imo.
The Fuck is the first OD I've really loved. The Monarch is super cool too.

I'm right there with you on the expression for the whetstone. I talked to kyle and apparently they've done what they can to try and make it work without completely redesigning everything.
I'm somewhat split between the ultimate tremolessence and the goatkeeper myself.
