Nope, a Maestro EP-3. Next paycheck and its mine, since it actually has state serial numbers and they can't give it away. But for a donation, they can make the records disappear. It has a scratchy volume pot, and no extra controller for the sound on sound, but I can fix that real quick. I've actually been using it at home as a preamp mostly for a couple of months now, and no one has missed it (no one except my boss, my co workers and I know about it really, and I'm the only one that seems to care).

Haha, I might think about it. I don't know if I'll use it that much so I may put it up for trade or cheap sale since I could really use a bigger cabinet and different effects instead.

Something else to add to the I WANT! list...dunno what it actually sounds like, but I think it's gorgeous. Gibson's also doing ebony and gold-top versions.

Les Paul Style Basses are meh to me. Don't get me wrong I like LP Geetars,....they just don't look right as basses.

It wouldn't be my ONLY bass, but if I could afford to I'd go hunt one down to see what it sounds like. And I do like the single-cut shape and that burst up there.

I've played a few of the LP special ones [no maple top & TBird pickups] and thought them really cool. I played one of the 70's triumph[?] basses once at a GC and it was AWESOME!!! but at the time I was poor :cry:

Man I so wanted that bass :cry:

MM keeps talking about wanting one. I remember a add in guitar mags in the 90's where this dude made a whole line in the Moderne shape: guitar acoustic guitar and bass and they were all headless wit the tuners mounted in holes in the body...
