lao Wiz/Richard--thanks so much for the info--this is gonna be a great primer for trying some etching myself! I tend to like the rougher etched look myself--kinda seems to fit the character of the circuits I like and of aluminum itself. Thanks again! ILF forever!

its a feedback looper with latching feedback. adjustable by the F knob. the Volume pot is always on the output but is basically out of the circuit when fully CW.

i would assume he means that the footswitch is not momentary, so when you press it, the pedal stays on, as opposed to something like the chk chk boom.

Any particular reason that you used the plastic jacket jacks on this build?

I had 40 of them and only a couple of each brand of neutrik, switchcraft, tayda open jacks. didn't want to use all my open jacks. I think it makes it a little easier with the closed jacks. keeps your wires out of trouble when its all point to point. the ground was super easy since they are so close. I would have never done it like that if I wasn't forced to but now that I did it, I kinda like it. those switchcraft jacks are good but dont grab the cable as much as a switchcraft open jack. those are really stiff jacks.

Third pedal and I am so addicted to pedals right now.. it's a TMK fuzz by Tim Escobedo with a weird bias mod switch and some minor tweaks to the parts, graphics are done by my good friend illiqual!

What are you using as a source. Does the tmk work just as good on line level signals? I might have to build something like this.

Btw excellent choice of program meterial. He starts off saying "u might not know what it means but i know what it means" haha i love noise. Some people hate it so ur clip made me lol. Its like the fuck you answer to music purists.

It's a lecture on programming languages, I enjoy programming and tweaking stuff like the tmk is the exact opposite of that experience. No bugs, nothing's wrong or bad, so the lecture seemed perfect to destroy.

It reacts very different to line level signal, obviously the Input-Z pot doesn't do much, and the pseudo-octave effect is a bit clearer.
With a guitar straight into it, it is sensitive to everything, touch, tonepot, volumepot and pickups...very chaotic and a lot of rewarding sweet spots. I still have to try it with really hot signals and/or a buffer in front of it. There is a lot of territory left to explore, go and build one and try it, good 'clean' fun.

pcb not ready yet, but soon maybe it will create some fuzzy sounds

Thank you. I bought the pcb, someone over here in Holland did a small run a couple of years ago, I never got around to building it.
