Points of interest.
Make sure to eat at central bar-b-q. It's on central ave, GPS that shit. Best bar b q in the fucking country, and I would fight a man to defend that. Fuck Neely's, fuck Corky's, fuck the Commisary, Fuck the rendevous. Central fucking bar b q. Best god damned bar b q I have ever eaten, and ever will. 
Huey's always and forever has the best god damned burger on earth. There's a lot of them. 
kwik chek is the best deli in the world (for)ever. It's on Madison, across the street from molly's around the Turner milk factory. It's beside a head shop called wizard's. Order the steak sandwich, or the trojan. The trojan is a chicken patty, wrapped in ham, wrapped in swiss, wrapped in lettuce, doused in honey mustard, inside of a pita. 
If you've got cash on you, go to the Chinese sub shop on highland, it's by a head shop called whatever 
. So fucking good. Also known as the super sub shop.
Camy's has the best pizza ever, and they deliver. Google that shit, cause they got a website.
Las Delicious is the best Mexican restaurant. Best chips, and the serve beer by the liter. THE LITER! 
It's on park, and getwell, or goodlett...i always forget.
Spaghetti warehouse is the best Italian, you can eat in a train car that's inside the building. It's somewhere downtown. I think they have a website. Really good italian, and pretty cheap. 
For cheap beer and groovy hipster chicks go to the new young ave deli, or as we memphians call it, "the deli". It's not a deli, its a bar. They have a good selection of beer (drink PBR to get optimal hipster chick attention) and awesome sweet potato fries. Make sure to drink Memphis's local brew "Ghost river" 
It's on the corner of cooper and young, which is the best neighborhood in Memphis. It's where I live!
YOU HAVE TO GO TO XANADU! It's a very cool, very small local guitar store! It's on central and the nearest cross streets are cooper and east parkway (right around the bar b q place). Guy named jon runs the place, loves EHX effects, sells dano's and orange amps. Plus he makes very cool cigar box guitars. He uses pool sticks as neck, you move one fret around, and he winds the pickups inside of bottle caps. I don't go there enough, but you should fucking go. Promise me! Dude brings his cat up to the store..his fucking cats. Him and his wife run it, she sells a bunch of old paperbacks. It's such a groovy place man, go dig on it.
So yeah, the only thing to do in Memphis is eat, drink, and play guitar.
