I paid for it, arranged a courier to go and collect it from the dudes house, then he phoned me to say he decided my bid wasnt high enough so he relisted it and told the courier it was a mistake. What a total dick! Negative feedback for that motherfucker.

Got my eyes on an olympic white CIJ now though

NO? :wha?:  Motherfucker got cold feet after failing to put a starting price high enough to meet his liking. What bullshit! Oh boy that sucks! But he refund through for the bass + courier, right (?). So You wait just a few weeks more add any money You can get this during the wait and buy an even better one, right! :thumb:

I feel You after having had one bid going wrong with one TGD in the evilBay, dude decided to not ship me because he 'doesn't want to ship outside US after all' though agreeing earlier to ship at my costs to EU. What a waist of time. Luckily I didn't even send him the moneys. Can't be sure if the fuckface would have returned my money either, since it would have left his precious US of A.

you should totally burn his house down, you have his address. That is also totally against the ebay terms of service so you should look into getting that fucker banned.

You can definitely put some sort of a claim against him with ebay or something.

IN: Rocktron Heart Attack.
I made the crack to the AR that they didn't have any bass clips on the website. He said they were discontinuing them and gave me a SMOKING deal on one. Definitely an "offer I couldn't refuse" type of thing. It will probably find a lot more use than my other envelope filters, mainly because it's more of a grindy, edgy filter. The overdrive on it is okay, but I'll probably put something else with it to really beef it up.

IN - MAYBE: Rocktron VII Deadly Sins Auto-Wah.
I've been fiddling with this for a little bit; it's on the "try before you buy" plan. While it definitely isn't that versatile with my 5 string, it does a lot better with the 6 (go figure, right?). Like the Heart Attack, it's gritty and edgy. I can pull this back and give the bass just that "extra" without pulling too much of the low frequencies out. I pulled the back off it and found a couple of trim pots, so I'm finding out what those do.

I've just fallen in love all over again. A couple weekends ago I made a Guitar Center trip and the two guitars I really enjoyed playing were a Fender Pawn Shop Mustang and a G&L Bluesboy. And now I discover that Fender Japan makes this beaut:

It's the tele TN-SPL model, and combines the awesomeness of Fender Japan with the hollowbody versatility of a tele and strat (the middle pickup is a strat pickup). It costs about $1,400 with shipping to get it here though :(

Yea, that Tele looks super sweet and versatile. The Pawn Shop Mustang rules also, love mine! That $1400 Tele price tag is insane though!! Makes the Pawn Shop series seem like a bargain buy and I saw a TON of bitching about their $799 price point.

Yeah, it's only meant for Japan, it's not part of the pawn shop series. You can only get them on ebay through shops like ishibashi.
