It's the difference between farting on the toilet and farting in a public place.

Low flow toilets have the best tone. Much more room for resonance to help you hit the resonant frequency of the stall door and make it join in. Like a natural chorus effect for your ass.

I appreciate the tonal qualities of the constant feedback I get from bidets.

Not if it's "LOC-ed After Dark", because it's an awesome fucking album.

i think the topic about "tone" will always come up because of the noted constant abuse of the term "tone" to scare insecure guitarists into finding that fucking mojo/magic in a box to fit-in.

many forums have taken on a bully mentality and the ones who have nothing better to do than post how high and mighty their 500 dollar uber-boutique pedal that is so transparent you can barely tell it's ok (WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!) intimidate those who honestly don't know better.

granted, we all should know what we want out of our playing... but when i first started out, i didn't know shit.

i was lucky to have been brought up with peers who encouraged playing your own thing and sounding how you wanted, and it fostered my confidence in my tone early on.
