Music making android apps

Post by ifeellikeatourist »

Hey, I just got my first smartphone, and I was wondering if any of you have any cool music apps that you think are worth downloading? I've seen quite a few different drum machines and synthy things that look cool, but was wondering which ones are actually cool/usable. I wouldn't be using these for any actual recording or performance, just for messing around when I'm bored and away from real instruments. Recommendations?

Electro Faustus has a little $2 app that's loops of noises from some of their equipment. I went on the prowl a while back for music making apps and mostly found a lot of faux-theremin things. RD3 Groovebox is a pretty decent 303 emulator.
