who doesn't find cheating acceptable? an alarming number of my friends don't seem to give a shit, so long as it's not happening to them.

i dunno. i guess i don't really find infidelity funny in any way.

I think it's terrible. If you're able to cheat, you shouldn't be with them. My friend just found out that her ex boyfriend cheated on her while together and I feel terrible for her...probably more than I should considering she was my girlfriend before that, but people are terrible.

I do not understand how people can be so inconsiderate and selfish. It's worse that it's impossible to know who you can trust and who you can't.

At first I thought you meant at cards or video games... but then I realized you meant in relationships, and that changed everything. Not that I'm super into cheating at cards, but I find cheating in relationships pretty abhorrent. Trust & emotional intimacy are pretty important to me, so yeah. Not into it.

biology and society are two separate realms. We stepped out of nature as soon as we came up for a word for it. Evolution and culture don't play by the same rules.

That said, morality will always be wishy-washy about these kinds of things; who's to say definitively what's right and what's wrong? Obviously, if you're in a committed relationship and you're stringing your partner along while they think you're monogamous, you should simply break it off. Some people are stupid however and feel this weird need to be in the most accessible relationship possible at all times. If you're starting to see someone who was cheating on a previous partner with you, be prepared for them to cheat on you. When you're talking about special someones, you're nothing special.

I actually have to stand in and stop friends doing this occasionaly, yeah it's cock blocking but for a cause and sometimes I get on really well with there girlfriends and i'm torn between being a dude and doing the right thing and telling them... (I never do, I should but... they're friends, although I do warn them prior sometimes).

One friend had been in a relationship for 3 years and just ditched her and actually said "I wanna have sex with more people, i'm bored of you" the annoying thing? He's a dick and women find him attractive, including the girl he ditched who I had to comfort through 3 hours of crying... plus he tried to sleep with my girlfriend at the time aswell... was not on (and I still know him, I worry he'll try it on at any time...he's a nice guy but when women are involved, it's like World of warcraft to him... yes, did I mention he is a world of warcraft addict and didn't use to come out untill I got him to...)

Me? I'm the most loyal person a woman will ever know which is probably why i'm still single, the chances of me cheating create some kind of mathematical paradox... dicks is dicks, women love a man that's a complete cunt.

Also for the record i do find it completely unacceptable. Casual sex is one thing, but if you arent going to be loyal in a relationship, then why bother being in one? People just need to be more honest about what they're after.

women don't really like assholes, they usually just like confidence and that shit. what normally happens is a guy who is a 'complete cunt' and adulterous and all that good stuff normally has an outgoing personality so they make their intentions known quickly while other guys don't. obviously women are going to go after the guys who have an obvious interest in them, you know?
