however, I have sold more ehx stuff than boss stuff simply by knowing wtf I'm talking about, which stands in contrast to what other people do and say --' "lemme get that boss reverb" "NAW HOMIE YOU WANTS A HOLY GRAIL, CHEAPER AND BETTER SOUNDING. AND NOT BOSS"
that's awesome... BUT
doesn't your boss give you trouble for recommending cheaper stuff over more expensive? my boss would kill me for doing something like this (i was working in a guitar store for a year, steppe d because the finals closing in, also soon i'll be probably moving to another city for my university... )

At a place like Guitar Center, a happy customer is a returning customer regardless of the profit made off of one sale. Guitar Center has quit a hard time competing with online stores were you usually don't have to pay taxes.

Not to sound too Guitar Center sympathetic; but it has to be hard to make money when you keep your prices around the same as online prices but have all the overhead of an actual store, salesmen and such. Plus you have to listen to the intro to stairway 19 times a day (I think it is why more stores don't carry double Neck SGs)

lol, VCR's. What are you, 80? I bet you can remember when Clinton was president too.
note: I can remember VCR's and a portion of the Clinton presidency. However, I was young enough that I thought "having an affair in office" meant he actually had sex in the Oval Office(also I wasn't 100% sure of all the mechanics of sex yet: something gets stuck in something or another). ramblerambledrunkenramble
