Might be less $$$... it's been like a year that they have that guitar at the store. The one at the store is blonde (wrong picture). I was looking for a Firebird or a Jazzmaster... but I think I should give this ASAT a try...

Just got my Pedaltrain PT-2 w/Hard Case. The board is the perfect size but the case is a little bigger than I thought it would be. I might try and sell it or trade it for the softcase.

Also, this makes me want to get back into guitar making. I have the remnants of an 80's Ibanez Roadstar lying around here...I think I just might have to put it together. I suck at building pedals, but I've made some pretty satisfactory instruments.
