Re: Twin Peaks
I CAN HEAR YOU PERFECTLY!
I agree, the first season is superior, but there's enough in the second to keep me happy. Maybe it's because the characters are fucking awesome, not sure, but it's well worth watching.
Probably the greatest show ever aired.
(arrested development and freaks and geeks tie for second)

Yes and even Jack Nance is in Twin Peaks. Wish Laura Dern was as well...

Re: Twin Peaks
Fucking watched the whole thing all the way through a couple months ago. Twin Peaks may be the greatest show to ever be shown on television. I'd watch it all again on Netflix, but I got 'em all on my computer.
And the second season was great, you guys STFU.

Apparently he's a renown backwards speaker and taught them how to do it. He's great...I've only witnessed him once from where I am in the series, but he's great. His dance off in the dream is supreme.

Yeah I saw that in the bonus features of either the show or movie. But when he was young he learned how to do it and oddly enough Lynch didn't know this and asked him to learn to speak backwards... so he brushed up a little and BAM, awesome.

Re: Twin Peaks
I'm a bit late to the PAWTY on this one, but Twin Peaks is one of my favourite works of art like EVER. From the pilot to the episode in which the first story arc comes to an end... ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Harrowing, funny, surreal, bleak, and uplifting altogether. After the first story arc ends and the next one(s) begin... some of those episodes are hit or miss. It ramps up a bit again at the end, but I'm still sticking to the first like 14 or 15 episodes as one of the greatest TV shows/stories/filmed art ever.
Plus Special Agent Dale Cooper is in my Top 5 fictional characters. What a guy!

Season two is keeping me up at night. Such a good show. I'm glad it's getting weird. I like weird. I hope the series concludes...but I'm doubtful. I'm gonna watch the prequel the second i finish this.
P.S. No spoilers...thanks

Upon further research, it would seem you are correct.
Now just who is this creepy guy the mother is hallucinating? (without giving away anything)
