They'll fit. It's just what I had. Has huge rubber feet on the bottom. He does like those.

Thanks you guys
The guts pic was before I had quite finished it up...still had tape on the back of the board, battery clip not in yet.

Believe it or not, the enclosure was already drilled/primed when I found that picture. I got the comic from the Sunday paper, which was actually sonidero's B-day. Think it worked out nicely.

I have another project pretty much finished, just troubleshooting right now. Looks a little something like this...

It's Logan 5 ring mod, EYG.
I shouldn't have posted it yet because I'm still tweaking it.

Fuzz face with 2n3904 silicon transistors. Built the Multiface perfboard layout, which sockets stuff: http://www.home-wrecker.com/multiface.html

I gotta work on my soldering some more. And the case + jacks + switch were previously a BYOC 3-knob Ross Compressor which never worked right, so I had to do a lot of desoldering. Where the previous solder joint just wouldn't come off, I just soldered on top of it, hence the giant globs of solder on the switch lugs. I covered up the top (with extra holes) with a big Google Code sticker I had, and cut up a Laughing Squid sticker to go on the top, because it reminded me of the bottom edge of the Pharaoh, and that made me laugh.

Sorry if the pictures are crappy. The light wasn't working well with my cellphone.

The super-bright red LED that I put in there made a cool lensflare though! It really is that bright :) I may switch the knobs yet to these:

I like it, it sounds awesome. Very touch-responsive to my playing.

$22 for a sweet enclosure + powder coat is actually cheap.

ya not so much $$$ that its the end of the world. and they really are quite well made. i will take pictures of how they open up. The bottom sort of flaps open like a hinge. Nice design work either way, seems like ~18 gauge steel so pretty damn solid too.
