his name is ness and earthbound is worth more than a poptart + feral cat + a rainbow on ebay.

P.S. the game is called MOTHER if you are japanese. highly recomended if you do. no english version made for mother 2 + 3 :cry: :mad:

Mother is great, but Earthbound IS Mother 2. There was never a proper English translation for Mother, but there's Earthbound Zero which is essentially an English but dumbed down Mother. Defintaly worth playing.
Also, there was a fan translation of Mother 3 that came out a couple of years ago.
It's also fantastic.

I don't think I'll go with an Earthbound Avatar though. My name is good enough for now.

Mother 3 fan translation is amazing. i like it's story better than Earthbound.

Earthbound Zero is ok, but it suffers from being NES hard and an open map game on the NES.
