IDK,...is Mecha Shiva Metal? I guess Mecha could imply that it's made from metal.

I don't mind if we are considered metal (I don't think we are). I like some metal,...but I'm not really into metal,...at least not to the point that I can rattle off the names of a bunch of obscure metal bands.

hehheheheheh. Yeah, Mark is one of the most opinionated people I've ever talked to. I've had a few back and forth's with him, and pretty much hated his guts for a while. But after exchanging PMs, I'm ok with him now.

He likes one tone, and that's it, and he isn't afraid to say so. He likes his dirty muddy vintage t00b tone, and any effects that he runs get run into a ridiculously overdriven amp and gets basically buried. Anything with treble sounds like stir-fried dogshit to him. Now that I know where he's coming from, I don't let it phase me.

Yeah, I gave up drinking for lent so my tolerance for silliness is shortened. He is an alright guy, I just came across a thread where he was trollin pretty hard and it pissed me off. I gotta take a page from your book and let it roll off.....

yeah,...I've talked with MO via PM. He is very defiant in his advocacy of tube amps with fuzz and OD,...and while I like his tone to an extent,...I'm pleased with my high powered SS amp for producing serviceable fuzzery.

I just take his view for what it is,...a somewhat narrow minded (although he would claim otherwise),..."one man's" subjective opinion.

While he can be troll-y,...if you approach him with a bit of knowledge and understanding of who he is; you can usually interact with him without the :mad:

I've never dealt with, had issues, of even talk much to him, but I did find his mr. know it allness a bit much... and...due... to his "tone" I never found his demos useful so really I stopped really reading his post years ago :idk:
