That's rad! I used to go to the thrift stores a lot. There's a gwill across from my work, but I haven't been in a while.

It's been a while since I had gone to the gwill across from work, so a couple days ago when I got off I decided to stop by. I tell you what, I'm sure freak'n glad I did...

I got a u250 cab, big case with 2 mixers, 2 mics, 3 mic stands + 2 additional arms, & some cables. It was all sitting in the auction case waiting for meeee. As soon as I saw the cab I about shat myself...stuff like that just doesn't show up there usually. I had just lost an ebay bid on one of those cabs last week. Didn't even realize all the other stuff came with it at first. Needless to say, I'm having a great gear month.

Oh yea, I also found this badass little battery charger thing that I'm going to use as an enclosure for an amp or some noise circuit (as soon as I find a way to take it apart without killing myself)

Holy shit. waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day one of my old bands used to use one of those little 4 channel realistic mixers. The bass player had a massive stereo system with really sweet Klipsch speakers, and that was our PA...

I went in today a day before my birthday and found this... A pair of Traynor BW-4 Speaker Cabs with 2x10 and a horn... They're made in Canada and still have the plastic over the logo... Awesome, let's hope they work...

If it's actually a traynor, it'll probably work.
Their stuff is indestructible from what I've played/read about.

What the hell guys. All I ever find are ancient gospel records and stuff.

Well, I did buy Barkley, Shut Up and JAM! a couple years ago, that was pretty sweet.

I bought two pristine Traynor 4x12 columns, and they were pristine...until I broke almost all the speakers.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

I gotta get over to Goodwill and St. Vincent de Paul(same thing as Goodwill) more often. There's one about a mile down the road from me and another three miles in the other direction.

I did find Graham Central Station's "No Bout a Doubt It" along with the soundtrack to The Graduate on vinyl at Goodwill to give to my sister last Christmas.
