and nowadays, as different to when i was a teenager, you can get arrested and jailed for ploinking an "underage" person, even if you're a teenager yourself. i watched a TV program on sex offenders recently and one of the subjects was a guy in Florida who got busted at 17 for screwing a 14-year-old girl and got two years in juvie; after homie got out at age 19 he got caught with a girl of 15 and got seven years in the penitentiary. don't have sex in Florida unless you check your partner's ID.

As a father of three I wholeheartedly agree with protecting the underage children from the teens, and both the children and the teens from the adult abuse and all but... but but but THAT... :wha?:

that sounds, to me, absolutely nonsensical legislation, age limits -wise. Just what are the age limits? Huh?

I fully understand that the difference of ages between them Youngsters can make bigger difference than ten years later... yeah, but... :whateva:

is it just the cultural differences or something but I still feel the conviction in this case sounds - to me, and one should - too harsh, based on awkwardly small difference of ages?

oh, it's incredibly nuts. if that law had been in effect when i was in high school a third of the student body would have been in jail.
