I've got an informal interview with a luthier buddy who is looking to increase his payroll. Looking to start installing electronics into basses and guitars. Stoked that this could pan out into something worthwhile. Learning to build basses and getting paid for it,...would be fucking awesome.

Also he is my in to shop space and a few tools that I may need to get Effects Junkie off the ground. I think he may be interested in a partnership,...so we'll see how that shapes up but for the moment I'm excited.

I just got my reimbursement check from school. :!!!:

I'm thinking I'm going to end up spending it, despite a feigned attempt at being responsible and saving it. Resistance to pedals at ILF is fucking futile. Oh well, time to plan my irresponsible spending!

Just finished my second day at the new job today :thumb: Everything's been great so far, helped by the fact that I've known everybody there for atleast 3 years prior to this job. (except for, what..maybe one person? :idk:)

I've sorta grounded myself a little bit,...while I want to take the offer seriously,...I'm also keeping it somewhat cautiously optimistic. We shall see.

AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I(Real Live Tigers) played your cd release show in Denton a month or two ago. I was actually in Michigan this weekend so RLT played as a trio, I believe. Had no idea you were in New Science Projects. Dale is the only person I've met.

Also, I just popped At War With the Mystics in my car CD player, an old standby. Steven Drozd is the most under-appreciated musician EVAR!!!!!!!

Pfft I say. Pfft, but I'll give you this one since today or yesterday was your birthday. My sense of time is so warped right now I don't even know what day of the week it is.

In other news, I have finally won the epic battle of the screw! I'm not telling how I got the exposed end of the stripped(due to my silliness) screw, but it starts with an "H" and it ends with an "Acksaw." Prior to that, I frustratedly attacked a chair with a pair of pliers which felt incredibly good and I'm not usually an angry person at all. I'm used to the tired, highly-medicated mellow that I'm slowly sinking back into.
