Yeah, I meant like instruments that the user to produce their own sounds are so much better than ones that just play predetermined tones at certain pitches in an attempt to emulate something such as a piano but end up sounding like a sick dog's flatulence despite costing thousands of dollars. I suppose whether or not it's controlled by a board of keys is incidental, but that is often the case. That's what I meant all technicalities and semantics aside.

Only digital pianos. I just think even the "nicest" most expensive ones sound horrendous and nothing like a real piano I guess my point is that I don't like electronic instruments being used in place of acoustic ones simply for the sake of convenience. Electronic for the sake of electronic is just dandy.
