The Fan, Short Film

Post by jfrey »

This was made by a friend of a friend. Thought you all might enjoy it. It's been passed up by a bunch of short film festivals, but I don't know why. I personally think it's really good. It was made on a budget of $1,000 USD.

Interesting...

Kinda just happens. Thought it'd get a bit daft for a second.

I liked it. I don't get the people commenting on Vimeo, saying it doesn't go anywhere. Not every story has to be resolved with a Hollywood ending where everyone realizes the errors of their ways and are better off for it. Just experiencing this particular moment and the intricacies of the characters was very well done. The acting was awesome.

I really liiked that alot. It was an intresting comment on fame and how it changes a person. I don't understand the part where he looks at his phone and scrolls through his contacts? But besides for that one part I though it was really good.

The guy that played David Jones I thought acted particularly well.

It's definitely one of those things, where they gave more in what they didn't show, than in what they did.
