Well, I saw this is on Netflix watch instantly. I haven't watched it yet or heard much else about it, but the cover art makes it look ridiculous. All I know from the description is Samuel L Jackson plays guitar and Christina Ricci is a sex addict.

Gonna go try to watch this now and post impressions here after.

It has its merits, but it's a bid of a stupid film.
Think I read somewhere, Samuel Jackson's character is supposed to be based on Junior Kimbraugh.

I've heard good things about some of the Peavy tube amps. Never played one though. That Festival he's playing in this movie sounds great.

That movie is real! I remember seeing a preview for it, but I just assumed it was a part of some weird, nonsensical dream.

due to this thread and me not having anything to do tonight i streamed this.. it was pretty good but overall it was pretty stupid. yet still entertaining. idk parts of it were like 'really..' but i cant really complain with samuel l jackson.

i liked it, it was entertaining, but it IS stupid. The whole sex addict thing and Justin Timberlake acting...

but Christina Ricci is SOMEHOW hot and not creepy looking this time... also i like Samuel L. Jackson very much
