i don't want to get my hopes up and get all heartbroken, but the educational books division of National Geographic has a job opening near me (in Monterey) that's PERFECT. i'm going to get my materials together, apply, and HOPE HOPE HOPE.

Xavier arrived today. they remind me a lot of newer Squiers. I think once I get some new strings it'll be awesome. I can't seem to get it in tune. Hopefully they'll settle. >.>

i spent most of my day wallowing in I HAVE NO FRIENDS BAWW.

then i talked to my friend. and she revealed that she and her boyfrann got me boomers for my birthday :love: and my day was mostly okay afterwards.

:thumb: What kit did he end up buying? My friend is really getting into drumming lately and he's looking at some Tama ones around $600...I don't know anything about drums but any information might be helpful.
