ah, i didnt even think about the trunks, ud think though the poop being so close to their nose the smell would bother them lol but i guess theyre wild animals, theyre use to being smelly haha

go out and walk around and look at stuff...this is fun whether you're in the city or country. in the country, go for a hike; in the city, go downtown or for another world stroll through Chinatown
watch weird shit on TV/YouTube/internet
listen to music...now would be a good time to research those bands you're curious about but have never heard
similarly, here's your chance to check out gear/stompbox demos
rest and/or exercise
museums, if there are decent ones near you
