long story short I found myself having to break into my own house.
my mom said that I could pop my brothers window out of place. so there I go and try to pop it out of place. I feel it giving so I'm "ah crap, she was right, so sick"
as soon as I finished that thought the glass breaks, my right hand goes through and tears up my wrist and thumb-muscle-thing

sc2? homie I can barely pivot to move the mouse lol
I'm all tore up right now, I can't even hold a pencil or drive to class right now >.<

if it's cut up, the main thing to do is try not to move it as much as possible...it's important to get it to heal and knit together, and you don't want to do anything to split part of it open. also, anything you can do to reduce swelling will be helpful. try to keep the injured parts raised above the level of your heart; this will keep blood from backing up in the arm and contributing to swelling. and as much as you're going to want to, don't try to play when it's only been healing for a few days...you'll just fuck it up and set yourself back. trust me on this...i've been there. try not to worry for now, and let it get better. unfortunately, this is one of those times when there's nothing to do but wait.

i hope i don't sound unsympathetic...my heart totally goes out to you. the best thing i can do for you is to tell you what i know works, and warn you about the things i did wrong when i injured my hand. you want to take care with this, because if it's really messed up and needs time to heal then the way it sets is the way it's going to be for the rest of your life.
