It's grand. I stopped considering myself a guitar player. It's just the instrument I went for and now I try and make it sound like anything else.

Sploosh! This is pretty much what I try to do all of the time, but it's never nearly this awesome. It reminds me of Daft Punk's Human After All album, Prime Time of Your Life specifically.

Yeah, he's kind of all over the place with At the Drive-In, Mars Volta, and his gazillion solo albums. I think it was more like "I hate the way the guitar sounds so I like to use a gazillion effects" or something silly like that. :idk:

IMO, as long as it sounds cool, it'll sound cooler louder.
