Here is my review of the Taco Bell Quad Steak Quesadilla.

Image

It was absolute shit.

Back in the day (I mean way back in the day) I loved Taco Bell's Steak Soft Tacos. The "steak" they used was tender and flavorful,..now the "meat" is dry and chokey and quadruple the amount is asking for a mouthful of desert (not dessert). There wasn't nearly enough cheese and way to much of that Taco Hell secret sauce the like to drench their quesadillas in. I probably should have gotten the Quadstek Burrito but they put rice on that shit and seriously FUCKRICE. Especially wannabe fried rice from Taco Bell.

Here is my review of Golden Corral, which is where my wife and my family went for dinner tonight (I'm sick so I didn't really put up a fight). They don't call it a barffet for nothing. You used to be able to go to Golden Corral,..order a steak and fries and they would cook a decent cut of Ribeye in a real kitchen to your preferred doneness, freshly fry you an order of fries; all while you got your self some rabbit food and when it was done they'd bring it out to you Sizzler style. Now they marinate cheap slabs of beef and grill it en mass; then cut it off the slab in small chunks (basically a bite but that's about all you can stomach) after it's sat for half an hour drying out. The marinade leaves the meat gritty and tallowy. I always get a piece hoping for the best and I'm always 100% without a doubt disappointed. Mainly in myself for being such a rube. These fuckers can't even get softserve right,...it's always half melted by the time you get back to the table and it tastes,....cheap.

Then there is the People of Walmart clientele. Seriously fat lady; cover yourself up I'm trying to "eat" here. There was this kid in there that had on this t-shirt with the sleeves ripped of and the seems ripped all the way down to the bottom with that little piece of foldback fabric holding it together at the bottom. If I came to the dinner table dressed like that I was going hungry until I changed. Back in the day they were usually not slammed,...now it's like an actual corral,...where they corral you in,...people were literally lining up behind a kid taking his fucking time,...fuck that,...who lines up at a barfett. I went up and got what I "wanted" with complete disregard for the patient cows. Idiots. I already waited in line to get my sprite and pay for my "meal",...I ain't waiting in any more fucking lines. If I wanted to wait I would have gone to a real restaurant.

(I will say that one of the casinos out here actually has a really good buffet with some awesome prime rib and a kick ass dessert case with creme brulee and tons of selection on both sides).

I seriously can't recall a recent fast food or restaurant experience that I actually enjoyed and didn't pay out the asshole for. Oh wait,...a local artisan pizza place called the Flying Goat. Aside from the yuppies and the scarf wearing balding fat homosexuals (I don't mind homosexuals but your bald and fat,...the scarf ain't doing you any favors,...if I'm not attracted to you, you don't make a very good fag). It was really good; Curried Chicken Pizza slathered in Siracha and the beer selections was titz. My sister in law is the GM and she has good taste in music and when she is on shift she chooses the music. I remember hearing Pinback and I knew she was working.

Snacks that I've been enjoying: There is a brand of Tortilla chips out this way called Juanita's and they are literally the closest thing to Mexican Restaurant fresh chips as you can get without going to the Mexican Restaurant. I like to layer up these chips with white cheddar cheese and give a little bit of time in a 300 degree toaster oven (I don't own a microwave) to melt. They taste close to the now defunct Planters Cheese Balls (Seriously dicks,...bring those back or rot in hell. I don't care if they turn my digits orange and cut the shit out of my gums).

Oh and bacon,...bacon is a snack and a main course with a side of fried eggs. That was breakfast this and pretty much every morning (that or a side of scrambled cheesy eggs to go with my 8 strips of bacon). I've been eating the shit out some BLTs lately too.

I went to a cafe I used to work at with my wife and had a buffalo chicken sandwich which was essentially chicken slathered in Franks hot sauce with Bleu Cheese dressing,...lettuce tomato and cucumber,...that was fucking awesome and the best part is the place is called the HIGH Nooner.

TL;DR Version: I'd rather eat a hot pocket and a bag of Dicks than go to Taco Bell (for anything other than tacos and they are going downhill fast) or Golden Corral (this list is likely to grow).

If you are ever in Spokane go to the Flying Goat and drink good beer/eat good pizza,...they have a pulled pork BBQ pizza and while it isn't my favorite NC Style Pulled Pork Sammiches, it's pretty good,...say hi to my sister in law and make fun of yuppie fucks and ugly homos while you are there. Also try the buffet at Northern Quest Casino. And the HIGH Nooner for their Buffalo Chicken Sammich.

Make Nachos with White Cheddar and Juanita's tortilla chips.

Planters are dicks for discontinuing Cheese Balls,...I haven't bought a Planters Product in 6 years.

Bacon is appropriate for any snacktime or meal occasion.

Warwick, yr not a fan of Zip's or Taco Time? I go to Spokane every year, and those are the two places I have to go to. Yes, I understand I'm heading two thousand miles north to get Mexican fast food. It's still good. Also, I could eat at the Satelite every day.

So is that like the kind of schooling you need to be an Avon lady?

I'm eating sour patch children and smarties with Cherry 7Up. There may be some booze added to all of that soon.
