I just hate that kind of story telling where they continue to flashback throughout the story without really telling you anything new. Then the present storyline goes exactly where you expect it too with no surprises whatsoever. In the Lake of the Woods by Tim O'Brien(a novel) was the same thing.

Although the Iggy Pop and Joy Division references almost made the whole thing worthwhile.

I think my favourite comic ever would be Joe Casey and Ashley Woods' Automatic Kafka. Great art, writing, cancelled before its time... amazing. Stray Bullets would be a close second.
