I'll get the regular version...
1) I don't like deluxe albums. I want just to hear the real album, no extra tracks. It's this weird hang-up I have. :idk: :)
2) I don't know wtf the newspaper thing is, and I'm too lazy to find out.

Looking forward to it! I really liked In Rainbows. I really wish they'd make a heavy, fuzzy guitar album again...but probably not likely, huh.

I totally agree with you on the deluxe thing, i feel like b-sides and live versions of songs always screw up the "flow" of a album. I kinda dont understand making a coherent, compelling album and then just tossing some extra songs on the end.

Now if only I could think of a single example of what Im talking about.

I downloaded a leaked copy. It's only 8 songs long which is my only gripe. A little on the psych side like Kid A. It doesn't have the same energy as In Rainbows but it is still legit (not forced). Some songs are cheery,...some are downtempo and "depressing". It definitely has the Radiohead vibe.

I'll probably pay for the .WAV files but not the "Newspaper Album" (which is a total renege on what I originally said I was going to do) . I just can't justify spending ~$50 with my current unemployed situation.

I personally like the 8 song length. It's 37 minutes. 40 minutes is a good mix between EP and full length. Which they've said they wanna do more EP type albums. Music in short bursts, more often.

I would stay tuned,...Radiohead being the practical jokers they are; might have some more material around the corner.

I also heard,...albeit hearsay,...that they scrapped an entire session during the recordings of King of Limbs.

Just heard it, it's good :) more on a mellow side i'd say... with some Kid-A-like psychedelia included :) for me it's one of the best post-OK Computer albums they have made

i don't get why you people are so bummed about the lenght... i'd rather produce/listen to a 40minutes intense and good album than an hour long album that'S "too long"
