not a good fucking night.

I heard it can be several times stronger than the effects of weed. Totally believe it. Had some major heart and mind racing, nausea, headache, the slight panic. Yeah. Nasty. Being legal and relatively safe, I had to try it once (for a week).[/quote]

Some punk at my school took some K2 and had to go to teh hospital for two or three days, he's 'aight now, but still a punk.

I had one called "Serenity Now" and it worked for one specific reason, I could fly with it on a business trip. It worked for like 15 minutes but then my eyes hurt. Mostly, it tasted like the incense that it is. And weed in NC is cheaper than legal buds, and then Creative Loafing (local music/arts newspaper) did an article where the author tried a few varieties, then a week later it was illegal. So at least I tried it.

Regarding cooking it, my friends and I made Moloko, where we cooked it in Milk, because the milkfat absorbs the cannabinoids and lets it absorb into your body. It was really awesome, pretty trippy. In fact my wife (then-girlfriend) wigged out a little and doesn't partake at all anymore. The trick with cooking weed at all is to cook it low and slow into a fat of somekind: Milk, butter, cream etc. Eating it is a very different vibe than smoking it, so proceed with caution. Some will like it alot, some will like it a little, some it will not affect at all, some will trip out and run into the street naked.

Sounds about right, don't skimp on the butter because it will be dry without it. And don't feel like you need to get top notch herb either, some schwag will be fine.

Add a bit of olive oil to the butter to keep the boiling temperature down and stop it accidently burning.

good ideas! i would do it with purely olive/vegetable oil but i don't think you can make rice crispy treats like that. also... can i put the weed in a cheese cloth or something to avoid having to strain the butter after?

If you grind the weed up fine enough, it should dissolve almost, I wouldn't filter it if were me, except with maybe a fine holed strainer, cloth would be bad.

And I wouldn't make it in vegetable oil, that'd probably burn the weed too, heat it slowly in butter cut with Olive Oil (you can also clarify the butter to stop that burning and tasting bad).

wasn't horrible...but definitely weird. Really pot-like,though. Haven't had any weird nauseous feelings or headaches like some of you had mentioned

I checked out their website and their prices seem relatively cheap. I might order something. Do you recommend anything?

Agreed. Although a cheesecloth will work, better to use a $20 coffee grinder and practically make it dust. You'll never know it was plants.

If you use Cheesecloth though you'll loose alot of the goodness in it, seems to fine to me.

Yeah, make it as fine as possible though, if not with a coffee grinder just put masses of time into grinding it with whatever, solid is good in this case because it just dissolves anyway because it was once the process of very fine filtering.
