My band covers "Xanadu"! Let me see if I can find a shitty link to a shitty video!
[vimeo]http://vimeo.com/14551017[/vimeo] <----how do you imbed that?
It's only our 3rd show, so PLEASE skip ahead to 15:00 for the Wings' "Jet" straight into "Xanadu" (which is SPOT ON), and excuse the shitty audio/video quality (captured by an old blown out hippie who loves any kind of "footage") and remember that we're drunk and also listen for a Fuzzhugger AB-Synth 5k and a Devi US Fuzz! (before I got my Algal Bloom)
And if THAT doesn't kill this thread, then nothing can.

that was actually really well done, woodman. impressive
Had to come back from my self-imposed weeklong ban that has been in effect for four hours to say THANKS! I'm always surprised when other people are into ELO... obviously I shouldn't be!

p.s. Also, since I'm on a self-ban for a week, I'm killing this thread FOR GOOD. No more posts. It's dead.

I try to create the subject or the scene from my subconscious and of course the conscious. the images are equally vague but less contrived and calculated.
I guess I meant in the context of artistic works, i.e. is Theater of the Absurd exclusively existentially absurd or can it contain aspects of the surreal movement?
I dunno. I thought it was interesting.
