Waiting on Ruby from Devi Ever more than 3 months out

I bought a Ruby from Devi Ever on Etsy on October 24th during her $50 pedal special. The promise was that it would take up to 3 months to have the pedal made.

I'm still waiting. Sent a message a couple of weeks ago and got this message from Devi:

"Pedals are all going out soon.

-devi"

Obviously not too soon. I ordered the pedal with the knowledge that it might take up to three months and I was really patient for those three months - - - I even waited until the three months was up before inquiring....but now I am starting to get a bit annoyed by it....

Anybody else in the same boat?

I thought it was odd, too....and I was a bit troubled by the brevity of the response I got from Devi...it was like she was not addressing my specific order. Just wanted to get a sense of whether lots of people were having this same problem or if it was just me.

i'd suggest that you inquire by posting on her forum, but from my experience she doesn't answer questions there either.

Well I will eventually send her another e-mail....just wanted to see if anyone else was having this experience.

I thought it was odd, too....and I was a bit troubled by the brevity of the response I got from Devi...it was like she was not addressing my specific order. Just wanted to get a sense of whether lots of people were having this same problem or if it was just me.

She's very abrupt in emails, just the way she is due to previous users causing drama . I've gotten the same message from her about some pedals I ordered. Although we discussed it the beginning of January, not nearly the same length of wait time. We exhcnaged emails last week, she said she had to work on some backed up orders before she got to mine, so I assume yours among others are being worked on getting shipped out. (hopefully)

She's probably busy on gear forums, for realz! Seriously though, that is an insanely long wait, I'd be losing patience. What can you do? She's a busy lady I guess.

I think there wouldn't be as much drama if she wasn't so terse and just updated people specifically....and there would simply be no drama at all if she stuck to the deadline she herself set. Or sent out an e-mail to all those people who are waiting beyond the three months to explain what is going on.

Not doing any of those things is going to generate doubt about what is going on.
