Anyone remember the name of that cartoon from the 90s...
It had a few dinosaurs (orange I think) and they had a helicopter I think, and there were two stupid cavemen that they were always at odds with.
I have been trying to remember the name of this show for years. Years.

Of course.
The Terrible Thunderlizards!
It was a cartoon included with Eek! The Cat that was shown at 3:00pm on Fox Kids! every week day. I know because I LOVE IT. I preferred Eek!, but the Thunderlizards were usually pretty funny.

Whoa. I think that's it. The dinosaurs look different than I remembered which is odd - might have been mixing a couple shows in my head - but yeah. Thanks man.

Nope. The Terrible Thunderlizards was the show but for some reason I'm remembering the dinosaurs being orange and looking slightly different. Might just be that I haven't seen the show in a decade or so.
On the subject of this since you may appreciate it. A friend of mine is sending me copies of the entire series of Gargoyles and Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm still looking for Mighty Max, Bucky O'hare, Transformers, Street Sharks, and Biker Mice from Mars.

I had a similar thing a few years ago with the movie "Unico In The Island Of Magic". I had originally seen it a few times on HBO in the mid-eighties, and had racked my loins for nearly 20 years trying to figure out what it was... I remembered a lot of details from the flick, just not what it was called. There was the weird rotund evil wizard in the orb, the boy with the blue cape with the "rabbit ears" (turned out to be antennae), people getting turned into wooden blocks, etc. I didn't remember Unico himself, though... probably because he's fucking annoying. But, as it turns out, my memory is pretty sharp:

Another animated film that I remembered images from but had no clue about was Miyazaki's "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind" which I eventually found as well. Really good flim.

I've been trying to remember for the better part of the past 7 years the name of a series of books I read as a kid. I think Scholastic sold them. It was about this young green alien boy - I think he had antennae - and his big white pet dog that I think had like 6 legs or something.

I remember starcom,...moreso because a spoiled rich kid I knew had the whole set of toys. The figures had magnets in their feet and would activate certain transformations in the vehicles they came with.
I was more of a GI Joe, Transformers, M.A.S.K. kinda kid though. I also really liked Mini 4WD which is still popular overseas but could never compete with slot cars in the States.

That is badass!
There was a really cool slot car track in a store around here...it was tucked behind a bunch of industrial buildings and the only way I found it is because the owner placed a very small sign at an intersection. The track went down fast but I still have my sweet-ass Bentley slot car.
I was always huge into the smaller GI Joes with all their vehicles and stuff. Those, military Micro Machines and Battletech mechs.

My dad worked at the Hobby store in Pembroke Mall (can't remember the name but it started with an H) as a PT job after retiring from the Navy. He used to bring me home unfinished Mechs from the Battletech series as a bribe to get good grades. He brought home the game as well but I never had the attention span for it though. I did like painting the Mechs though and that was how I learned how to do dry painting for shading. When Mechwarrior came available on PC's I got hooked on that game.
I want to get back into building stuff the super detailed Tamiya models of Rally cars. I used to put together a lot of the Monogram and Revell NASCAR models back I when I didn't know how to pull pussy. I got pretty good at it. Need the shop space though,...a corner for sniffing glue and a corner for inhaling solder fumes.
