Woo finally something I know...everyone here really knows their guitar stuff so I feel stupid saying anything. Anywho, Gamecube had a few rare gems...def. got more use then my wii does now
The obvious suggestions are the same games nintendo has been churning out for decades. Metroid prime was a solid series. It never lives up to the nes/snes versions, but its nice seeing samus make the leap to 3d.
The paper mario games were also fun if you enjoy pseudo rpg/platformers.
Another suggestion (and one i'd keep to yourself if you enjoy it) is animal crossing. Insanely simplistic yet insanely addicting.
If ya throw some kinda party-like-its-2003 shindig, mario kart: double dash is a must. Hang on to those gamecube controllers if you ever buy a wii...its the only manageable way to play some wii games
