It's the sound you do during soundchecks that pissed everybody off!

So when that song came out my buddy used to LOVE mimicking that CHUN-DUHN sound along with his guitar, whenever the video would come on. One time he did it hard enough to break his high E-string and the sharp end flew up, smacking him in the face right by his eye, leaving a decent sized blood dot.

Ever since then Radiohead have been metal as fuck to me.

TGP threads are great making you feel good about yourself sometimes.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

More intersting question on Radiohead should be the solo in Paranoid Android, but I have my idea :excellent:

The ability to hide sections of the forum, like the B/S/T thing, so you wouldn't be tempted to go there and spend money you don't have.

Now how do you get that effect from that song.......

Throw away all of your effects and your picks. Then, do a bunch of peyote and you're gravy.

I mean that figuratively. Don't have a bad trip where you actually think you're made of gravy. Actually, that sounds like it might be awesome. "I am thick, yet fluid. I am hearty, yet I become one with the mashed potatoes that make up my universe. From stock I came and soon I shall return to the meat from whence I first oozed into existence."

Goddamn it. I completely forgot what this thread was about again. There needs to be a way for the rest of you to e-slap me, so I stop rambling and posting nonsense that I think is funny but is probably absolutely absurd to the rest of you. :hobbes:

Remember: temporary volume boost = studio magic/only the sound guy can do it.

It's the Jonny Greenwood "Don't strum like a wimpy bitch" guitar technique that they're looking for. That's how you get that ever elusive "CHK CHK" sound.
