Woke up at 9 on my friends couch.
Watched Psycho with him.
Ate some of his knockoff poptarts.
Walked home in -3 degree weather.
Waited impatiently for my books to come.
My books came.
Waited impatiently for my pickguad to come.
Got my pickguard.
Went to DQ.
Got a meal.
Went home.
Put my pickguard on.
Pichguard didn't fit.
Widened some holes.
ILF and fried chicken.

i woke up, took my brother to school, made some food, went to school, did some calculus, came home, argued with the school, took a nap, then gave my grandma's dog a bath.

then chased her around the house because she ran away before i could towel dry her. :!!!:

I chilled with my boiis at jam night at the local cafe, at one point my friend and i were screaming at each other while our other friends band played (screaming musical context) and scared some little kids that happened to come in. :!!!: and I sorta chilled with this grrrrl im crushin on and she touched my hand at one point. :!!!:

then I came home my deceased friend's parents talking with my mom about my two best friends whose parents think they do meth all the time. then my friend's parents told me all this shit about mediums they saw and how he knew all this stuff and it was weird and i also thought about talking about this on ILF while it was happening.

also listened to "every artist needs a tradgedy" by no age today on full volume with the speaker set up next to me such that it was the only thing i could hear and i re-affirmed my desicision that it is one of the most BOSS songs ever.

and now im going to go hit a j and eat a family size bag of chips and 2L coke and maybe play fallout or watch rushmore or something.

You really wanna know, I sat around listening to music, switching between here, the devi forum and talkbass, did some dish washing, made lunch, watched some phaser demos I've already watched, wished my AC15 had shipping tracking, got back on here, still here...

Last night I had 2 Old Rasputin Imperial Stouts and a 2008 Dogfish Head World Wide Stout. That's about 8 beers worth of alcohol crammed into 3.

Best part of an otherwise routine day.

Last night, my once-a-year cover band played at a benefit for a coworker of a friend who has ALS. We were one of five bands, and were graced with the longest set (about an hour & 20 minutes). It was the benefit's first time at this particular club, and we were all hoping that it would go well so we could have it there again sometime. Sold 300 tickets presale, and 100 at the door, which got us close to club capacity. It was a great friggin' night, people danced their asses off, and we got a request to play at a wedding. It wasn't a usual night by any stretch of the imagination, but it sure as hell is cool to have one like that once in a while.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.
