What kind of LP is that? My buddy just got a Traditional Pro in the Goldtop with dark satin back and coil tapped 57 Classics, man that thing is sick. The coil tap opens a whole new realm of possibilities with the LP!
That's sick! Mine's just a 2001 LP Standard with the stock pickups (498T/490R). I absolutely love it. My only complaint is that it's heavy as fuuuuuuuuck.
Agreed, I actually sold a Silverburst Custom because it weighed 13lbs and I couldn't stand it. I have a Custom now that's chambered with 57 Classics and it sounds amazing, and only weighs around 10lbs thank god.
i felt really lucky that my Tokai came in at 8.5 pounds unchambered. i also have an all-mahogany Epiphone LP Custom that weighs about as much as a Fiat 600...i love its sound, but i'd need narcotics to play it all the time.

Thanks kind sirs. Maton makes some really badass guitars. This one compliments my BB1200JH perfectly. The BB is a high output monster (coil tapped for SC tones too) that competes with my LP Custom for high gain tones while this one has a more mellow feel. As far as tone and playability, it falls somewhere between Fender and Gibson.
